After what seemed like forever I finished my first rifle build:

300winmag
Terminus Kratos Lite
22” Bartlin 3B
Trigger tech special
Area 419 hellfire brake
AG composites stock
Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50
MTN Gear bipod
Salmon River Solutions mini arca plate

Optic and rifle comes out to just under 9lbs. Kind of wish I went with a shorter barrel and a different finish on the stock but maybe I’ll revisit those bits another time. Until then I can’t wait to get some rounds down range with her.

Good looking rifle! I'm in the small category here that thinks everyone should own a 300 win mag. (Yes, before you all hang me, I kill deer every year with a 223)

Congratulations, beautiful rifle, enjoy. You just opened the pandora box for your self, what's next?
I know, I doubt I’ll be able to get a factory rifle at this point…I’d love to build myself one of those ultra light short actions some time, have to look into exactly what for a while first

This is your pilot project and once you start fine tuning it, enjoy how it shoots, you’ll probably find yourself thinking, “Maybe I should’ve done this instead of that...” It’s totally normal. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up chasing every tweak, upgrade, and option, before you know it, you’re running a full collection instead of one dialed setup, best of luck , enjoy it

Yeah I could definitely see that happening. I’m looking forward to getting it set and keeping it as a shooter once it’s there
