Morning all,

I am looking for recommendations for a quality binocular. Iven been using the low end vortex type for years and years. They do well, but I feel like I'm missing a lot when glassing at distance. especially in the shadows. I have 2 big hunts this year and want to get mid to upper tier set that will do well and last for a long time . I thinking in the $1000-$1500 range.

10x42 is my preferred size. I dont need to be able to score an elk at 600 yards, but id like to be able to tell the difference between cows and bulls.

1500 will get you a used set of EL’s, If new is the requirement the monarch HG’s are fantastic for the money and refurbished can be bought 600.00 range. Mepota meostars should be on the list as well.
