I’m thankful to have taken my first Muley with a bow this year on opener before 9am… despite it being short hunt it was a long long day. Buck ended up dying on private and I had to hike out and then back in after getting in contact with the land owner. I digress, I wanted to share my success with using the Sevr 1.5 Hybrid. I did thousands of shots this summer preparing for this season. I still ended up making a pretty bunk shot at 50. I did not realize how hard this buck was quartering away from me, thankfully the sevr did its job. Basically shot him in the butt but the thing penetrated over 20 inches and got lung. Also got some liver I believe. Buck went about 300 yards - no traceable blood, but was dead as soon as I stumbled on him about 45 minutes later. Not proud of my shot, but super thankful that I notched my tag and that this buck died quickly!
