Did some shed hunting yesterday in Wyoming.

Found the first 6pt and then poked around and found the match about 20yds away.

Saw some bulls still holding so probably go back again soon

I think horseback is the way to find sheds.

Bulls are mostly dropped down this way, except for some smaller ones. Going to look around next weekend.

Went out this weekend in montana and only got eyes on three elk. Two of em were still packing including a 6x6.

I flew last Saturday on the west side of Montana looking for bulls. Counted 181 bulls and only about 10% were shed. Still early over here.

I found some old ones yesterday, nothing fresh. Saw a few small bulls still hanging on.

Matched set but had been out a year unfortunately.

It's still amazing to me how late these bulls will shed and then not even 4 months later they are full grown into their next set already.

Several miles away and lower in elevation.
The deer, elk and turkeys are just now making their way back up since the snow left last week.
I was finally able to drive into my place last Wednesday
