I’ve spent far too much time ogling the offerings on the Sako website. So many nice options. I am eventually going to pick one, but none of them is exactly what I want.

The Grizzly weighs 6.8 pounds bare. I am trying to decide between the Hunter, the Grizzly, and building one off a Tikka long action rifle.

Depends what you are looking for. Just a lean mean killing machine, build a tikka. If you want class, heirloom quality, and everything a tikka wishes it was get the Sako. Wish I had a use for a 9.3x62

Prairie dog hunting. You always needs a challenge and a 9.3 bullet probably weighs the same as the giant Pdogs

I wish I did too. It’s totally and utterly pointless for everything I do at this point in my life. I just want one.
