The Llano is my single favorite peice of clothing they offer, followed closely by the Red Desert Boxers...

The Chama Hoody is great too, but I like a nice thin layer of merino next to the skin. It's great for hiking and drys out quick. Personally, I wouldn't start a layering system without the Llano.
With you Nick.. Llano and a Chamo is a great combo, you need both... :) I want the Chamo in the top secret new camo. ;)

I'm 6'1" 175, I wear the chama hoody in Med, and large pants. I have a 32/33" waist.

The chama hoody is my absolute favorite piece of clothing, I have 3 of them. I'm not a fan of the Springer vest, I sold mine, I have a kuiu vest for a wind stopper layer.
Can't go wrong with FL anything though.
im 5'10" with a 32-33" waist and the medium Kanabs are perfect for me. cutup75 is a tall dude though.

Order the bulk of it from Story Creek and got 15% off. I tried to talk Steve at S & S into matching it but he couldn't do it. I had to order the Llano from Black Ovis. After I placed the order I heard from a buddy who has a Promotive hookup through the USFS. He said it takes a bit longer through that site and he couldn't get ASAT in some pieces. I figure as the season goes on I'll probably get the NB pants and puffy. I had a chance to try on the Kanabs (size medium was perfect) and NB Jacket (large was perfect) at a local place. I kind of feel bad trying it on and ordering online but hey, gotta save some money. I could have ordered my Tibets online but bought those local at the same place. Most stuff will get here tomorrow. Season opens in 10 days!!!

My promotive order from first lite took about 7 days to arrive. Some things from promotive companies ive gotten in five days. FL processes pretty quickly. It is a good idea to keep tabs on stock as the only restock 1-2 times per year.

I just checked on the FL stock on Promotive. Kanabs are pretty much sold out in most patterns. Max 1 still is ok . Chama has decent stock of most patterns. Also, the laborador looks ok. LLano is limited. Definitely more RT that ASAT. Still a moderate stock of MO Infinity.

Sometimes though with FL on Promotive it will show in stock and let you order the item then later that day or the next the order will be cancelled because it actually wasn't in stock; had this happen to me two different times with different items. Also, had my FL order take about three weeks to arrive (not a complaint just letting everyone know that they can take a while so wouldn't order through there if you need in a hurry; not just FL but any of the Promotive sites).

Got all of my pieces. First impressions:

Sizing was more generous than expected. I normally wear a large in most tops and bottoms but the Mediums fit perfectly. The exception is the Llano SS-a large fits good. The Chama zip, Springer Vest and North Branch jacket are all being exchanged for a medium. Kanabs in medium fit great

Holy crap this is nice, well made gear. It's not hard to impress me with all of the pieced together crap I've used in the past but fit and finish is top notch.

Kanabs and Llano are really comfortable.

The DWR on the North Branch jacket is really good. This may be a bit warm for anything over 50 while stationary or 40 while moving. I think the Llano/Chama/Springer will be a good combo for hiking in cool temps.

With no field testing, hard to make any final judgements but if my excursion cooking dinner with my Kanabs and Llano is any indication, this is some super solid gear. I've already ordered the brimmed beanie and neck gaiter. Puffy and NB pants are on the waiting list.

I am with you, that Northbranch is one serious soft shell!
