Based on the wind in the video, and the guy zipping up what appears to be a top of sorts, my guess is something to compete with the Sitka Fanatic top. A warm, windproof type thingydo.

I don’t know, they hyped the piss out of taking existing lacrosse boots and making them in fusion camo for months like it was something special.

They get a lot of feedback from hunters that they don’t really have anything that’s truly a wind proof piece. Probably something to compete with the jetstream jacket.

I'm just wondering if it's a camo pattern and they just want to get it out there because they will have people in the field wearing it and if they don't do a "release" people will have already seen it. Then new products will still come out at normal times this spring.

Now that it's released, I can say there is a fair chance I wouldn't have noticed that it wasn't fusion or cipher if I saw someone out and about with it. It is a nice looking camo but I sure as heck wouldn't buy something new because of it.

Specter looks very similar to True Timber Strata. I have some bibs and a jacket from BassPro in Strata. I like them a lot.

Yeah if there's no new wind tech in the whitetail line not getting a $ from me. I'll go buy the Fanatic set instead.

I got these from Bass Pro on sale for $80. Windproof, waterproof, and breathable. I stayed dry in a rainstorm and as advertised, the wind does not cut through either. I picked up a matching set of insulated bibs, also for $80.

I realize they are not as "cool" at the Sitka Fanatic, but they're $80. Fanatic is $450. I've gotten 2 deer wearing this so far and several have looked at me, and didn't bust me.
