First Lite pant sizing (Small?)

I’m trying to figure out if I need a small or medium obsidian. Based on FL sizing I’m in the cusp. 31/30 jeans are a perfect fit. I’m 5’8” 152#. Anyone around my size have first hand experience? I don’t need sloppy long pants but don’t want tight either. Thanks

I wear a 32-31 waist in most normal pants and the FL guide pants in medium fit great. If you can afford it just order them both to try on and send one back.

I'm 5'10" 175 with a 30-31" waist and the smalls fit my waist perfect. But the pants are a little short. First lite pants run pretty dang big in the waist.

Got them and while the waist is about right maybe a bit big (suspenders and shirt tucked in make them feel fine) and would be ok, length is a bit long and pants are a bit baggy for me. Not sure if the small would be better or not. Kinda up in the air if I want to try the small or just move on. Was thinking Obsidians would be a great early season pant for me.

I’m 34/34, 6’3 (between 195-205lbs) and I sold my larges last year because they were too sloppy in the waist with a pack. I’ll be switching to the medium falls this year when the solids go back in stock.

I don't want to wear hipster skinny jeans, nor do I want to be MC Hammer. Something in the middle would be nice.

Can anyone comment about the small, are they still fairly baggy fitting?

I am about 150lbs, 5'11'' and a 30" waist in most pants. I wore the medium Kanabs and guide pants for a while, but they were just too big. Not a problem with the suspenders, but they can be uncomfortable under my pack hip belt. I bought the small Obsidians and it is much better. Still a little loose around the waist if I don't have a base layer tucked in. The length and thigh-fit are both fine. I have skinny legs. Hope this helps.

I'm 6' 4" and 195 lbs and I wear medium tall in the guide corrugates. Fit is great for me.
