First lite core

Does anyone have experience with the first lite core set? Specifically with the durability?
I have been running the stratus which I like, however It’s not quite as warm as I’d like it. I was convinced i was going to buy the core set to use for a wider temp range but saw the bad reviews of the durability of the face fabric.

If not is there a set you would recommend, I have been considering the fanatic, thermic, phase, or even some of the kuiu stuff

i use it from like 30's to sub zero. I opted for the pants and not the bibs. Just dont' like bibs for hunting. It's a quite set and very warm especially if you layer correctly. I normally pack it in to sit because its so damn warm. But so far I love it.

Ok thanks for the input, I thought about just buying that set but I know the fabric picks up a decent amount of junk but I guess that isn’t that big of a deal

yea it does pick up burrs and stuff sometimes but that's the least of my worries.

Yes core replaced the solitude, thermic replaced the sanctuary

I have the predecessor solitude and sanctuary 2.0 coat and bibs I picked up for 40% off a while back. I’m really happy with them. The kitlink pass through system they have is an absolute game changer for me since I hate shooting with gloves on. Face fabric seems reasonably durable. I don’t beat it up more than I have to but I wouldn’t expect it to fall apart if I had to go through a little bit of thicket. It does seem like burrs can get brushed off easily which I really like as well. Temp wise is kinda hard to recommend which set you’d benefit most from not knowing what temps you’re dealing with. I definitely use both but the Solitude gets used the most. I could get by with just the Sanctuary if I just threw it in a backpack until I got to the stand though. A few years ago I used the Sanctuary down into the negatives in a blind with no heat and was fairly comfortable and not all that chilly.
