How does the line of First Lite gear fit? I normally wear large bottoms and XL tops. Will I be safe with that? I know for Sitka I need a size up in all there stuff.

I definitely havent had to size up on anything. To me some of their stuff is sized weird though. I wear a medium chama, small puffy, and their t-shirts are way tight so Ill go with a large if I buy any more. Its definitely athletic cut so if you are a little round you may have to size up.

I'm 6'2" 205lbs. Wear a large in base layers and the puffy coat. 34" waist and medium tall pants fit great. In sitka I wear a solid xl and even had to get a 2xl in the jetstream jacket. First light is sized a little big.

Each peice of their layering system is designed to fit over the lower layer. So t-shirts run almost snug and everything else ups in size just a tiny bit more.

In general I find FL to run true to size unlike Sitka or Kuiu. I wear XXL in FL.

I am generally a tweener between lg and xl. I have an xl Chama and it is a bit big on me. I prefer things a bit big in general. I think a lg would be a perfect fit but have not tried one. I have a lg puffy and it is a perfect fit. I tried an xl puffy and it was too big. I just ordered a halstead. Was tempted to order and xl but decided to go lg. Don't have it yet but hope that was not a mistake. I agree though. Things are sized well in FL and run a tad big if anything.

I normally wear large tops and x large jackets in other brands. In FL I wear medium in everything and they layer nicely.

I have had to return the corrugate guide pants and the phantom leafy shirt because I went with my regular size of XL and they were too big. If you can try on the sizes in a store before ordering online you will get the right size the first time. No fault of the company really, but they're stuff definitely seems to run a little bigger for me.

If you give us your measurables (height, weight, pants size, jacket size) that might help us make recommendations, I've read that some of their sizing can be a little off (specifically the llano shirts). I'm 6'/180# and I wear 34/32 in pants and a 40 jacket. The First Lite medium tall Corrugates fit me nicely as well as the medium in the Allegheny bottoms and puffy jacket.

I'm 5'5" 175 and in most brands generally wear a large shirt and 32 waist pants and have to get pants shortened. FL size medium fits me in everything I have from them. As mentioned above the layering system means base layers are tighter. Medium fits me in llano, Chama, Chama exp, halsted, sanctuary, kanab 2.0, and red desert. Only thing I prefer the large in are their gloves (grizzly gloves). Long winded way of saying I think if you are close to being in between sizes, I would size down. Good luck!

On the pants I went a size up from a large to an XL. I actually need something between. I wish they'd make their pants fitted like Sitka. My only complaint about FL. Everything else seems to be spot on. However the Chama with my short arms in an XL was too big and the springer vest in a Large was perfect. I usually run an extra luscious in everything. The Llanos have a snugger fit to them FYI.
