WTB First lite catalyst pants

Looking for a pair of pants for my growing son. We are in Michigan so I need something that’s not too thin and not heavy. I have the catalyst and they are about perfect for layering under or as a stand alone. He is a teenager and grows out if everything pretty quick but hoping to get him something he can use for a year or two. Don’t want to spend new money, and I know first lite has them on clearance right now. don’t care if they are well worn , as I’m sure he’ll outgrow them soon. Don’t want something that is shredded , but well used is ok as I’m sure I’ll b passing them on before too long. Hoping for catalyst but would also consider stratus or something similar as long as it’s quiet. Not sure exactly what size I need as far as medium or large but about a 34” waste . Don’t need a a tall. Not too picky on camo pattern. Thanks.
