I saw this post and thought "what ithe heck s a trucker hat?", so I had to look it up. Looks to me just like a duck bill hat AKA as a baseball cap unless I'm missing something.

These days, a “trucker hat” has a mesh back, which is considered “old school” since many contemporary hats, including “baseball hats” no longer use mesh backs. Think of it as “throwback” fashion: if you wear one of these hats and simultaneously sport a mustache, there is a either a degree of hipster irony.... or you’re an out of fashion, off duty police officer. Even the USPS hats these days don’t have mesh backs.
