First Kifaru Pack

I recently ordered my first Kifaru pack. I ordered the new hunter frame and a used DT1. Will I need any additional clips or any other parts I should order before the frame shows up? Thanks for any info.

The bag will go right on the frame. The only thing you may need is buckles for the cinch strap. They usually come with a new bag so hopefully the seller will send them with the used bag.

Might want to add a grab it to your order. It's a highly functional item that can be used with your dt1 or by itself.

A couple extra k clip compression straps is a must. Then you can ad a 3rd compression straps to you dt1

I like the Gunbearer and usually always add it to a Kifaru or other packs. The Universal Gunbearer will fit any pack but you can shave some weight, or excess strapping, by going the non-universal route. I have owned several different Kifaru bags from Highcamp to EMR II but I think the DT1 is probably the sweet spot between simplicity and organization. I like the EMR II, but it is almost too much organization. The Highcamp is almost too little organization. They are all great bags. I have found that my preferences have changed over time. The DT1 is a great choice.
