First Elk

My daughter harvested her first elk last weekend! We had a blast, I think NM really has their act together with the youth only hunts. She made a great shot, 200 yards through the timber, 6.5 cm 140 accubond. Coolest part for me, I took my first elk in the same area the year she was born, got to go back with her 15 years later and help her take her first elk. Hope there's many more for ya kiddo!
