Was able to harvest my first elk this past Friday in Idaho. My first time out with a tag so I feel extremely fortunate. My buddy who was with me whispered “are you gonna shoot him?” While he was coming in.

My success has a lot to do with some of you gentlemen on this site and to that I want to say a big THANKYOU!! You know who you are and I appreciate all the tips and advice I was given from everyone. This is a great site with lots of very knowledgeable men. Thanks again guys and I’m looking forward to getting back on the mountain to try and do it again!
