Finished Up Another Osage Bow

Been on a tear this winter making shavings. Got this year's hunter done. 64", 58#@28" Osage selfbow. Vinagroon stain, rattler skins and Ostrich leather grip and shelf with a beaver tail strike plate. Bocote/purpleheart tip overlays. Top limb had a few inches of natural reflex, both limbs have a touch unstrung and resting. Profile pic was immediately after shooting. Thanks. I don't have Osage around me, I usually buy seasoned staves from sellers. A bow usually takes me 30ish hours I'd guess depending on the wood, heat straightening, etc.

As for seasoning Osage, at least a year. Longer is better. I have one stave here that was cut 35 years ago. Other woods vary in how long before they can be worked.
