Finding consistent technique

Putting here because broadly firearms based.

Any tips for finding a consistent shooting technique?

Took my newly chassis'ed rifle to the range today, and the feel is wildly different than the old wood stock. I like it. I like it a lot, but I kind of feel like I'm back at square one with grip and how my finger addresses the trigger and I'm seeing it on the target.

*yes, I know I need better bench bags*

Dry fire.
From the bench, building positions, on the couch.
Have the rifle in your hands. IMO.
