My long time go to rifle has been a Ruger M77 MkII in a McMillian stock in 300 Win Mag. I've been torn between the 200 ELD-X and the 180 GMX in it. It seems to prefer these 2 the most, as I never got great accuracy with Barnes. It seems to me the 190 CX might be the best of both worlds. I just got some in yesterday, and am excited to start some load development to see what it likes. Anyone here played with the 190 CX yet?

The first pic is the 180 GMX on the left, 190 CX in the middle and 200 ELD-X on the right.

on the surface, looks like the CX design just copied the LRX and E Tip enhancements - curved reliefs instead of sharp angles, longer boat tail, and a longer ogive.

Going to bump this, did you have any luck with the 190s? I’m about to start playing with some in my 300wm. looking at starting with h4831sc or I also have some h1000 but I’m not sure that would be ideal. What kind of performance were you seeing?

I have been playing with the 190 CX in ADG brass with h4831sc and h1000. Have not found a load that I'm happy with yet.

I've had really good luck with MagPro. I know it's temperature sensitive, but I've actually seen pretty consistent velocities with it in a wide variety of temperatures. I had bought a bunch of it because it was all that was available. Accuracy has been phenomenal, consistently sub MOA and I feel that I am the limiting factor in that.

I started with Hogdon's data from their website for the 200gr TSX, figured with the similar construction it would be a safe starting place. Ended up at 2950 with no pressure signs.
