Finally got my CA to shoot!

After a bunch of different boxes of all types of ammo it is finally grouping what I consider to be alright! I was on thin ice as one of the babies woke up and momma let me know that shooting time was over ( makeshift range off the deck at the cabin) but the last 3 rounds were satisfactory. I’ll carry this thing bear hunting if I can tag out on elk/deer first with a muzzy. The load that finally worked was a 168 tmk (blue tip) it’s pushing at about 2530 Mv and should perform well out to a tad over 400 yards from this MPP that got outfitted with a 16” barrel

It was, swapped it out for a CA 16” that way I’m good to go with the stock without a tax stamp

10-4 I figured that reasoning. So a .308 cal pushing 168s at 2530. Are you basing 500 off of a 2000fps impact velocity?

Right around 425 with an impact velocity of 1800 fps
