I've had this for a few years, I thought it would fit me but it's a bit too tight (I'm a 44 chest, usually wear Filson Large). I have a ton of Filson gear and just love this stuff! In great condition. The first picture is the best representation of the color, the second too pictures turned out too light.
Outside measurments are:
Pit to pit: 21"
Shoulder to shoulder: 17"
This would probably fit a 40 chest quite well.
