Fierce Edge 28 Nosler

I got a pretty good buy on a Fierce Edge in 28 Nosler. I didn’t need the gun but I’ve read pretty good reviews on the gun. I also read that the 28 Nosler barrels have a short life cycle. So, what’s the easiest way to check if the barrels life is close to its end of life cycle?

I might try to find a different self timing muzzle brake to try if I can find a used one in the bead blasted stainless reasonably priced.

Clean it and shoot it. After a few fouling shots, does it shoot good? If so, the barrel is good!

Look down the barrel with a bore scope, if it has rifling, that is a good start

It shoots good at 100yds. I haven't gotten to shoot it any farther yet.
