Field Ram Rod

I have a Knight UL and have found that my gun shoots better with the attached Ram rod is removed. So I am looking for a collapsible rod for hunting. Whats are some good options?

i use the Blackhawk 2, its pretty grate and i haven't given any second thoughts since purchased.

Be aware, though, that collapsible rods (unless you get one that screws together) are only good for loading - not swabbing/cleaning/bullet pulling. I carry a full length aluminum or carbon rod on all my hunting rifles for that reason.

I guess my one concern is how a collapsible rod will handle Tripple 7 crud ring. I did notice Arrow specifically says it should mot be used for patching.

You’d have to have a screw-together rod like the G3 for swabbing.

At this point I thing I’ll just go with a collapsible rod but keeping a light weight 3 piece in my pack as a back up. I’ll be in UT this winter on a mule deer hunt and another rod in my EXO pack won’t be an issue.
