WTS FHF Overwatch kit - Ranger -

Built this as an NRL hunter/tactical comp type of chest rig, but decided to go a different route. All items are “Like New - without Tags”

Damn this is a sweet setup. Are the mag and dump pouch just on the foundation wings? What do you typically use the dump pouch on there for?

Yup the dump pouch is attached under the mag pouch on the foundation wing on the right in the picture above.
The goal was to build something “tactical” for sniper style competitions that would require pistol shooting as well. If I was going to use this I would attach a pistol mag pouch on the side of the bino harness. I never really had a specific use for the dump pouch, but you hardly notice it’s there, and with some of the different competitions out there you never know what you’ll get into, ha.

Sweet, I’m trying to figure out how i could adapt something similar for hunting/ general backcountry use and the pistol mag on the side sounds like a good way to go to get all bases covered. Maybe you could throw a water bottle in the dump pouch if you found yourself in a situation needing to drop your pack for some reason (not really applicable to competition).

Just checked out all cole tacs stuff for the first time and they’ve got some really sweet stuff too, especially geared towards tripods.

Yea Coletac makes some nice stuff.

For hunting purposes I would just take off the foundation wings and throw on the RF pouch. I wanted to have something adaptable. You could even get a second set of foundation wings with a “hunting loadout”. Swap the mag pouch side for the FHF cell phone holder and the Coletac Side Car pouch side for your RF pouch of choice. Something like that would’ve been my plan anyway.

Edit: i actually have a second set of foundation wings i can throw in, ha.
