The only number I trust from Nosler is the phone number, and even that’s questionable. Their BC numbers are whatever Brian Litz says.

Pay attention to scope parallax when you’re shooting, and I’d try to launch every single one of them over the chrono. I reckon it depends on your set up. Might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.
I have a magnetospeed barrel mounted chrono and I'm sure it will throw my shots some.

Depends on the rifle- one of mine (heavy barreled 223) doesn’t seem to have any effect on group size or point of impact. One T3x 6.5cm, groups size stays about the same, but point of impact changes a few inches. Another light barreled 6.5 goes from sub moa without, to a poorly patterned shotgun with the magnetospeed.

Ended up averaging 2865 fps for 5 shots. My ES is like 38. I'm sure that it could be better but I ran it through my calculator and that shows 1" difference in drop at 500 yards and less than 4" at 750. Is that too much? I feel like I could still hit whitetail vitals within that range.

Well, technically yes, I’d throw some shots out at that distance at a target that’s in a similar environment to what you hunt in at different temps . That sure makes things different then on paper lol. Takes me forever to get bedded down and hit a 12” target at that distance. If I can find the dam thing.

That's my plan now. If I can consistently hit 8" plates out to 50p, I'm going to hunt with this load.

I’ve found one of those apps and a decent range finder will help make for a lot of first shot hits once you establish your chronograph wasn’t lying. Hardest part after that is a decent rest and finding the target. I’m in awe of people who are confident and actually good at hunting those distances. I think most people who realize the time/money/ practice/eyesight, involved would just go get some beef at Safeway and just make up stories
