Federal 6.5 Backcountry?

Sounds like I’ll be ordering the tmk, and just enjoying that it’s factory loaded and more mass for the same speed as my hand loaded 130s (hopefully)

We will see how the recoil increase is
Yeah I like that they included a mix of everything, bonded, mono , C&C
And some high S.D & B.C , enough selection for everyone!
IMO something Hornady has strayed from.

I want to know if anyone is shooting the 6.5 creed+peak out of their sig cross? It is a slower gun with its 18" barrel. Its also kinda picky with factory ammo. But if you can gain 100-200+ fps out of what is an already handy compact rifle this would be amazing.
I'm planning on trying the Elite Hunter & TMK factory offerings whenever they're available to see if my Cross likes them. Will report back if/when I make that happen.

I’m looking forward to getting ahold of a box of the 155 fusion tipped to see how the do out of my daughters CM. If they group, I see it as a no brainer even though everything she has shot with regular 140s dropped within a few steps.

I'm shocked that the 153gr TMK is going to be one of the original loadings. Also shocked that they're going to offer cases for reloading seeing as this is a legacy caliber.
Sierra and Barnes recently merged (or one acquired the other) and I think it’s a good move for them to have their projectiles on the newest stuff out there. I’m sure the TMK will be marketed for the target shooters, but all the hunting with match bullet discussion doesn’t hurt sales either.

I’m here for it. Federal already markets the TMK to law enforcement, I’m glad to see it crossing over into their normal lineup. Now I just need some 5.56 +peak with 77gr TMKs and a 6 ARC +peak with 107 TMKs.
