Feather fletching for compounds?

Shit traditional for years.. going to compound now.
I guess the old school in me still has a soft spot for arrow creating and fletching.

Will this idea work with today's modern compound bows?
 
Yes.


If it's what you're use to, it's fine to stay with it. Shoot what you want.

But even a lot of trad guys are going to vanes now.

I've only used feathers with my compound and I haven't tried trad. I love em. I typically shoot pretty slow ( 255 fps ballpark ) heavier arrows and usually in drier regions for reference. I did get rained on pretty heavy this archery season in the hills and decided to finally use the feather powder treatment just in case for next season.
