Favorite Phelps amp call

I know this has been discussed before, but the season is 3 weeks away so why not?!


What color is your favorite for an all around call (cow/calf and bugles)?


I used the gray last year and loved it. Considering trying a couple others this year.

I have the gray, white, green, and pink.

Gray is my favorite for both cow calls and bugles. Next up would be the pink. I can get raspier, more aggressive bugles with the pink than I can the gray.

It’s odd, but I can’t get the pink to work for me. Cow calls or bugles. It just cuts off trying to transition to the low notes.

I’ve tried all of the original amp colors, the maverick, and the Phelps signature.

I like the black for immature sounds both cow and bull. And the maverick for mature.

I’ve onlu used the gray, love it. Best part, you can’t wear one out!!!!

Have had the most success with the green. Have green, white, and orange. Just picked up maverick, pink, and grey to throw in as well.
