As with everything, this has probably been hashed out before. BUT with SO many brands out there, does anybody have a favorite make/model? This is going to be limited to models that are still being produced and available. I guess I'll go first, my favorite right now are the Fjallraven Keb.

Thoughts?

Prana zions fit the bill most of the time, and tied with them but definitely a little more rugged are. The kuiu attacks. Snowy conditions, kuiu guides.

FL Kanab/Obsidians early season
Sitka Mtn Pant Active or FL Catalyst static
hunting for Mid Season
Late Season Sanctuary Set

Following along and I would like to find a new go to pair of cargo pants. But when they put the cargo pockets on the front/thigh area I am done. I just can’t stand walking any distance with things in my pockets rubbing tight against my thighs when I walk. Anybody have a suggestion for a regular pair of cargo pants with cargo pockets on the sides?

Born Primitive Terrain - better than Prana Zion and Kuiu Kutana

Born Primitive Frontier - better than Kuiu Attack

I can't speak to the durability yet, but these are really comfortable pants due to the excellent 4-way stretch.
I also tried the Traverse pants, but they were a no-go for me.

Kuiu Kutana Stretch for almost everything. Simple, super durable, retain their shape over long hunts, quiet, dry crazy fast, and block the wind decently for how breathable they are. Pair them with the kuiu zip off bottoms or sitka hw bottoms for later season hunts and you’re good to go. Best out there IMO.

KUIU attacks and Sitka Timberlines. One of my buddies coined the term for timberlines....Its like hunting in your pajamas.

I really love Vince DM 01 jeans. Classic straight fit a medium vintage wash, designed for comfort and flexibility while riding a motorcycle. They also feature a cotton-elastane blend for added stretch. For my dollar, nothing better than spending a Sunday afternoon ripping heaters on my deck in my Vince DMs.

Crye Precision. I was issued a pair in my last job and kept them when I retired. I have Sitka Mtn, Kuiu Attack and Sitka Intercept and keep going back to the Crye's...so well made, fits perfect, highly engineered functional and still look like new after four hunts in the Thorofare, 3 elk hunts in New Mexico and 2 in Montana. The external knee pads are awesome too

Kuiu attacks, but I don’t love the fit.

If I were to make the perfect pant it would be a hybrid of the Sitka mountain/timberline pants (don’t like the material heavier/dries slower but I like the fit), attacks, and the prana Zion (ball vents, quick drying material and belt design).

I have an older pair of the fleece lined prana zions that are very comfortable and have been durable, but not as durable as the others mentioned.
