Favorite mapping app?

I've been using Spartan Forge this season. Really like the LIDAR, but the actual app has serious issues. If open the app with spotty coverage it often logs me out and then I have to type my password back in to access my data, but since I'm in a spot with bad coverage, it often fails to log me back in. They claim to be working on a fix. The desktop is fine for e-scouting, but in the field I have regrets.

I used OnX then switched to GoHunt for a few years. I think GoHunt has a leg up on a few features like terrain analysis and the line of sight glassing tool, but the aerial imagery quality is not good. I immediately noticed OnX was much better in that area. I hate that terrain x opens a new browser window and you have a very limited feature set once in that mode. I’ll be transitioning back to OnX but GoHunt was good enough too. My hunting buddies use OnX so being able to share data with them pushed it over the top.

Check out RidgeRead, it has the same terrain analysis as GoHunt but it’s free. You can also include a road buffer with the terrain criteria.
