Favorite holster mounting options for backpacking

I'm running a blade tec drop and offset belt holster on my belt. It's down and out of the way of the pack and I never have to move it.

Key to carrying a big iron on your belt is the belt. I run a leather belt with a kydex stiffener at home and for my hunting I am using a dual layer nylon.
