Hey all!

This is one of my first posts, so please let me know if I'm in the wrong place. I have Tikka T3x in 300 WM, and am looking into different factory loads in preparation for spring bear. Right now I have my dopes set for the Federal Terminal Ascent 200g rounds. Anyone have any personal experience going from these to another load, or any personal favorites? Thank you!

Right on the money if you’re looking for good exit holes with lots of blood and no tracking. I shot my muley this year at 15 yards with the same combo and left a softball sized exit. My dad shot his moose with the same set up, 3 shots only 1 stuck in the opposite hide.

200 terminal ascent, or 180 Barnes TTSX are my top two for bear and moose. Accubonds are great too, but usually way more expensive in loaded ammo.

I've never shot the barnes ttsx. Do you know how they compare to the berger 185g that federal makes? I only ask since they're similar in weight - I tried out those bergers and for some reason my rifle didn't seem to like them as much

I’m interested in this info too. Savage 116 chambered in 300 win mag. I’m trying to decide between Norma Bondstrike 185? or Hornaday Whitetail 180. I used the Norma on a mule deer this past fall. I have an Elk hunt 2nd rifle in CO.
