85gr is where I settled for my 243 AR-10 too, big enough for deer but not overkill for coyotes either. Pushing it with H4350 though, just over 3200fps.

I’ve had great success with load development on a 100gr Speer and a 95gr Nosler BT both with imr 4350.

I just started working on a load for this bullet today. May have to try some varget that seems like really good velocity for a 20" barrel.

This is the only one that I chose a Barnes tsx for. I believe I was using IMR 4350, under the 85gr. It flat worked for both of the boys Remingtons

Ive been hot rodding it with the 58gr vmax around 4000fps out of my tc custom shop barrel..very hot and loud but fun and accurate.

Would like to try more of the speer offerings but Hornady is pretty much all thats local for me.

Nosler partition has killed everything it’s been pointed at out to 450 yards. As a loaner rifle it’s easy to shoot and with a good bit of bragging about what a great track records it’s racked up, even inexperienced shooters have always had a lot of confidence in it.

Currently running 80 gr TTSX over IMR 4895 from a 18" Ruger American compact at just over 3000 fps. Probably can improve but it shoots tight groups and it's a sub-400 yard gun anyways. Great for kids.
