I resisted the urge to comment how much I hate this competition last week. Anything that personifies predators is a negative to hunters IMO. But just saw this news story about postponing fat bear week that I’ll gladly share. It should help shine a nice ray of reality on what bears really are to the city folks following along with this competition:

I haven’t looked for the video yet, but I’ll try to find it this evening. That’s gotta be some wild footage. Edit: I guess this is the second incident of brown on brown violence caught on camera this year. A big male killed a cub on camera earlier this year. Hopefully that video comes out too so people can see what’s up!
