Fast twist bolt 223 options under 700-800

Already seen the Tikka SL, was wondering if there’s another decent option I’m missing or if that’s it. Looking to keep price around 700-800 and at least 8 twist.

Help me spend my money!

Savage and Browning offers fast twist, but may be 9s though.

Ruger American offers a 1:8.

Ther Ruger American is what I have (8 twist) . It's not fancy at all, but is stupid accurate with 75gr Hornady BTHP homeloads. I tried my gas-gun loads just to see how they'd fare, and didn't even bother fine tuning

I agree with the Ruger American but the heavier barreled Predator. Not the best trigger but really accurate for a $400 rifle.

I have a Ruger American Ranch. 1/8 twist and takes AR15 magazines. Shoots factory 69 SMK under an inch. I just got some 77 TMK to try. I’m assuming it will shoot better from reading what others have said. I picked it up at Sportsman Warehouse for $450 on sale.

I’m not sure you can do better than the Tikka SL you mentioned in your initial post. How do you intend to use it?
