I am 6' 186 and in cold weather 30 degree and below I would normally wear a merino tee, sitka LW hoodie, and mid weight layer. Will a large work.

Large should work fine. I'm 6' and 170ish, the large is a touch big on me.

I'm similar weight and an inch shorter than you and my size L works great for layering similar to what you describe. I also have room for additional layers when it gets down around 0.

I am 5’11, 175 lbs. I layer a bit more than you and wear an XL but I like a looser fit.

Large would be perfect as long as you don't plan on wearing anything too lofty underneath...I'm 5'10/160lbs (28.5" draw length) and a Medium is spot on for me.

5’11”, 175 lbs.
Wear an XL . A Large is too tight in the shoulders for how I like to layer.

When I had my fanatic jacket I wore an XL
I’m 6 ft 210 wide shoulders and still had plenty of room for some layers.

I am 6’1, 190lbs and wear a large with multiple layers underneath. Mine is an older model, though. Not sure if that changes anything.

Just got one (new 2019+ model to be clear)... 5'10" 174 lbs, medium fits perfect.
Would you say you like an athletic or baggier fit? I tend to like an athletic slim fit and am 5'10" 167ish. Also did you get the bibs?

I’m 5’11 195 and the large was tight on me that was the older model now I have the updated version and got the XL and fits way better I do layer under with merino LW then fanatic hoody and the Sitka midi jacket keeps me toasty and can still draw my bow with no problems.. good luck
