Anyone have any experience with the Iside II? The II is listed on Midway (which I know is legit), as well as a few other websites, but not listed on FAIR’s website. Couple forum post in various places saying to look at it, but no reviews stating what’s different between it and the Iside or Iside EM models. Can’t tell if it’s just the original Iside (which is listed on FAIR’s website, but nowhere that actually sells new firearms) but with a new model name or what the deal is.

Been looking at a 20 gauge SxS with a budget of $2500 or less. Got to put my hands on the FAIR Prestige a few months ago and really liked it, but I don’t need all of that fancy engraving for a dove/squirrel/woodcock gun. Hoping going a step down would give me the same gun just with less art on the receiver.

Just a educated guess, but its highly likely to be the same gun. Actually ALL of the variants would be the same gun, the only difference being the apprarance, ie grade of wood, metal finish, sideplates or not, single or double trigger, chokes, etc. so while I dont know it for certain, that would be standard for it to be exactly what you said—the same gun, just different appearance.
FAIR is a longtime manufacturer but rather than being a “brand”, mostly they manufactured guns and sold them to other companies that marketed them under their brand. So its entirely possible the “isede II” is a run of isede guns with whatever specs that midway purchased themselves. Or they were made for someone else and midway somehow ended up with the inventory or got in on a buy.

Not the same the II has a bunch of updates. I have an Iside 20ga it's a great little gun. Seems the II is only a few hundred more.

Summary of Enhancements in the
Iside II

  • Improved Durability: The most significant change is the move from leaf springs to more durable and consistent coil springs in the firing mechanism.
  • Modern Manufacturing: The receiver is now a single monolithic design, CNC-machined from a steel forging, which increases strength and reduces weight while maintaining a traditional, rounded profile.
  • Enhanced Longevity: The addition of a hardened steel insert in the fore-end and the new four-lug locking system significantly increase the shotgun's overall lifespan and strength.
  • Aesthetics: The

often features upgraded wood and fine-pitch laser checkering, offering a refined appearance.
The

represents F.A.I.R.'s effort to blend timeless craftsmanship with modern, robust engineering solutions for a reliable field and clay gun. You can find more specifications and details on the manufacturer's website or through importers like the Italian Firearms Group.
