Factory Ammo Question

I recently bought 2 new boxes of 300 Win Mag Precision Hunter ELDX. I also have a box of the same stuff from 4 years ago. Do you think they are the same load and should be the same?

Probably not from the same lot. There will be lot numbers printed on the boxes that you can compare. There can be some variation from one lot to another. Best to shoot a group to check if you can.

Iv had hornady ammo vary over 100fps lot to lot. I wouldn’t count on it

How far do you shoot? Take two rounds of the new stuff and two from the old box, shoot at distance and compare. I'm sure there will be a difference but it may not be enough to adjust your dope
