Factory 6mm creed velocities 18” barrel

Just finished putting together a 18” 6mm creed. Don’t handload yet, thought Id post the data I have gathered. If its helpful for folks considering their own builds, as I was.

Tikka action, 18” preferred barrel, 7.5 twist. Suppressed.

20 degrees, 85% humidity, 250ft elevation.

First 30 rounds down the tube. Velocity Avg of about 8-10 rounds per factory load.

Hornady 108 eldm @ 2758 fps
Sierra matchking 107 @ 2785
Federal premium 105 berger hybrid @ 2849

Hope its helpful. Cheers. The 108 eldm at that velocity is a near perfect -2 quick drop to about 650-700. Which is a bonus, as my shorty .308 required a .6 mil correction and was only good to 500 with quick drop.

So far she shoots as well as I can over bags. With some mirage off the can.
