Thought about buying a facemask to wear when I go to UT, ID or CO, didn't wanna have to mess with cleaning paint off my face for 10 days, does anyone else wear one, and if so, any recommendations for one in max-1?

Ive always gone with a simple netting facemask over paint. Its easy to take on/off and theres no mess. When bugs are bad it helps but isnt full enclosure.

For those who prefer paint, how difficult is it to get your face clean with a dehydrated wet wipe or other towel, seems I've really gotta scrub my face when I've used paint to get it off.

Acne pads work very well but I don't know about packing them it's just one more thing to carry and remember. They are the only thing I have found that takes it off well.

Agreed...

My buddy likes to paint his face. He uses Wine Corks and burns them with a lighter and rubs them on his face.
When I do use a mask, mostly for duck hunting, I use a Primos stretch 1/2 mask. It is poly, lightweight and has a mouth hole so I can spit.

Sweats off pretty easy..
x2 I may start out pretty dark by the time I take a picture it just looks like I just have a slightly dirty face. Never had that hard of a time cleaning it off after I sweated it off most the day. Usually grow out the beard though as well

I like the tighter fitting "spandoflage" face masks over loose net style ones. I ALWAYS have one in my pocket bow hunting and coyote hunting.

Cover up that shiny face and those hands. They do the most moving.

Work as a firefighter, so the beard is out. I'll have one after 10 days of hunting though. I'll just let it sweat off, I'm not trying to look good for anyone anyways.

Great catch phrase. My beard is patchy, embarrassingly sparse at best. Provides a nice, random pattern.

I use a merino neck gaiter up over my nose in cool weather. The netting options are OK I guess. Face paint is messy, and out.. unless I am rescuing a hostage, or saving the world for the bad guys.

I don't go with a beard. I'm one of the weird guys who does a full body shave down! No hair brings me good luck!!

Don't use either. Have never liked them and used to use the 3/4 versions you can pull up and down. After finding that I never pulled them up I just quit wearing them about 10 years ago. Hasn't made any difference as far as I can tell. I don't even use them turkey hunting anymore.
