Tons of photography basics vids on YouTube, so I would just go thru a bunch of them. Then you'll find the ones that are focused on the types of photography you want to do, e.g. landscape, documentary, portrait, etc. No real preferences on my side, but Mark Denney has some good stuff on landscape editing.
Editing is a big part. What will you use to edit? Lightroom is kind of the standard, but lots of options. Shoot in raw, vs jpeg, to take full advantage of your equipment if you're going to edit.
I recommend finding books or vids that are specific to your camera, too. Get to know all the features, menus, etc.
I appreciate it @idcuda. I've read a few things about light room but hadn't really looked into editing software yet.
I've been doing some reading and watching a few videos and there is a hell of a lot going on lol. Seems a bit overwhelming at first but im looking forward to trying something new.
There's definitely a lot to it. Fire away on auto mode so you can learn how the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO interact. They're three of the critical items that will impact the exposure of your pics.
