So I ordered a ez green vise and it doesn't work great on my V3x. Limbs are to short and vise has no adjustment.

The third "peg" hits the cam, so if I crank down there is pressure on the cam...

Than I googled and saw a few images.

This looks bad to me....any issues putting pressure on your cam?

This is how I had mine mounted... still putting pressure on the cam.

So send it back and spend another $100 on a better vise, or use it??

I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly I have used those by turning it 180. The single side (in your picture it's by the cam) let it sit on the limb pocket instead of the limb. Then the double side that draws up can be out on the cam side of the limbs.

Or just return it and get an OMP wide limb vise. I really like mine, doesn't mount on the ez green, but a good clamp and I put it on most anything. Makes it Portable.

I'll mess with it a little more....after I posted I was wondering if I overlooked more ways to mount it.

My bow shop has a bap that I used for a morning and really liked it.....I have looked at the omp as well.

Do yourself a favor and get a BAP ball vise with the micro adjust plate. He also makes an ez press mount for it. Ive had the LCA and the OMP and neither of them are close. I also have a BAP pro mount vise that I travel with, but if I had to pick 1 of the BAP vises it would be the ball mount just for the versatility. The pro shop vise is a bit faster to work with, but the ball mount can get the bow in just about any position youd need it.

Ditched the ez green and ordered a OMP.

Still need a press and a home made draw board and I'll have a decent little archery shop in the basement.
