I have a Slik 624 that I like, but am looking to get something I can use standing. I'm 6'7", and my budget is $250 for the tripod. I use my binos on a tall outdoorsmans mount, and am going to buy an angled spotter this summer, so those might buy me an inch or two. I know I'll be giving up some weight to the 624 to get a tall tripod, but I'd like to keep it light since it'll be going backpacking. Thanks for your help.

I thought the 634 only went to 63" (5'3")? Is that before the center post extends? I'm just worried that'll be too short.

Wanna sell me your 624 to put toward the new one? Lol

Haha worth a shot check out the sirui W2004 max height of 71” with a weight of 4.5 lb idk how much taller you are going to get in that price range without sacrificing a lot of weight

Before the column I guess. I’m 6’ and with the Outdoorsmans adapter and head I can stand no issues with column to spare.

My brother is 6’4” and he can use it with the tall Bino adapter and if I recall still has some height to add. I can measure mine tomorrow

The CF-734 is 65" before the head and mount. Very sturdy and weighs only 2.9 Lbs.
Retail is $279.95, but to respect your budget we will do $249.99 shipped

Give me a call to discuss

I’m 6”2 I have the 634 use a sirui VA-5 head on top and I I can stand on flat ground and look through my straight spotter. With a little extra height to spare.
