Extra stove pipe height?

Are there any negatives of a couple extra feet above the shelter besides weight and having to slip more rings on it?

Yea there is. Wind. Pipes that are too long can beat the crap out of your jack in high winds, they can also be unstable in high winds, both very bad things while you have a fire roaring

In high wind the stove can move and i don't like this...i use a sawtooth lenght pipe on my Seekoutside 4 man.Always been scare of sparks so i made a baffle and now no sparks at all.If i dont have the baffle i can lift the stove with logs or rock to give the pipe more lenght because my pipe is "limit" on my tipi.
