Exterior Bottle Holder

Prefer using Nalgene or Gatorade bottles vs. bladders. Any recommendations for an exterior holder with a pocket that does not weigh 1/2 a pound (don't need all the padding and zippers)? Thanks.

Check out the kifaru bottle holders. They work really slick and will attach to any pals webbing. They don't have a pocket though.

I've used Kifaru, MR, and Stone Glacier. I don't like the MR bottle holder as it is the only one I've lost bottles in. The Kifaru works good and the Stone Glacier one is great if you like the style of it. The Stone Glacier will work on any pack I believe.

The SG version is a snug fit for a 1L Nalgene and has a flat structure when empty. Holds it well, but makes re-holstering it a pain. Likely better suited for smaller or flatter bottles for what that's worth.

Not to hijack but does anyone have a slick way of attaching a PALS style water bottle/pocket like Kifarus to a solid strap like that on the EXO belt? I have strips of velcro but wondering if anyone has a better solution.
