Extending straps

I have a Mystery Ranch Guidelite MT frame with a few different bags. I use the Mule during deer season to lug a treestand. The straps make it ride too high and I catch every branch I go under. I think if I can extend these straps only like 6” it would make this pack much more functional.

Digging through my parts bin, I couldn’t come up with a good solution. Anyone have any ideas? I don’t have a heavy duty sewing machine just a stitching awl, but would prefer a plug & play clip I can use to attach another strap to the existing one. Thank you 🙏 IMG_1356.jpegIMG_1280.jpeg

Get another piece of strap to feed through the clips and make a loop, then add a buckle to that loop and the strap on the pack. I had to do a similar thing to my bino harness.

My other end has a buckle but same concept.

Thanks guys - those G clips were what I needed. This will work perfect. I also put a bag of duck decoys in there and the straps were short so the bag was riding very low

Ok even better! I found some extra straps in my gear pile I was able to repurpose. They were from my MR Popup handle which broke - had a loop on one side and a triglide on the other, perfect. Extra length fits my tree stand perfect so it’s not extended past the frame. I can also loosen further and fit a giant bag of duck decoys in there.
