well I didn't have a scope under the tree sooooo I scoured the internet and found a pretty good deal on a 2-7x33 firedot ballistic and have one coming!

Care to share that deal?
I think I'm going to throw one of these on a 45-70.

the 2-7 ballistic was going for ~ $550 most places, bigsupplyshop had them for $428- this was $50 than the next best price I found, with the ballistic reticle (duplex firedot) they are under $400

Just a quick count off the top of my head, I believe I have seven of them mounted on various rifles in both red and green. For what it’s worth, I had the scope on dangerous game rifle chambered in 416 Rigby modified with a circle reticle and green firedot. The Leupold custom shop tech said it was the only one they had done like that at the time.

So, yes, I love the firedot.
