Just talking about the lead thing and not wanting to eat it. I don't think it's much of a worry, some people do.

In over 35 years of eating dead animals shot with lead core bullets, I've never had a bit of worry. But this is the first animal I've shot with a Berger. 90% of the animals I've shot have two holes in them.....entry and exit. This Berger had no exit, as this is how they are designed......to fragment upon entry for mass destruction. That's great for killing. But while skinning it out and deboning it, there were several places in the meat with perforations that had me wondering......"Is there a chunk of copper or lead inside there". That I've never had to deal with.....except in birds.

Don't have a problem with lead in birds anymore, quite hunting grouse with the shotgun and went to the 22long rifle. Hate nibbling on a piece of grouse to find the lead in it lol.
