20d fabric seems kinda light... any durability / puncture problems with this pad or is it good to boot? I have it narrowed down to this one or the 9 Xp which is a fair amount heavier. Would prefer not to carry the extra weight if I don’t have to but it’s better than deflated pads.

My gal used the winter UL this year and really liked it. Iv been on the synmat UL for 4 seasons of mountain hunting, if I’m not mistaken, they use the same 20d as the winter, so far Iv had no issues with deflates. The winter UL will be my next pad, when mine decides to retire.

So long as you are aware of the ground it goes on and keep your dog/cat away you should have no problems. If you do ever get a puncture, repair is pretty quick and simple both in the field or in our office if you have time to send it in. No cost other than the shipping of the mat to us, we cover repair and shipping back.
