I do not have experience with these heads. Just curious if people have shot both the swept and the full and if they noticed a difference in noise and flight.

Thanks

I shot both I never really noticed a difference the only reason I got the full blade was so I could use them in CO but here in NH you can use the swept blades so I hunted with those as well.

I’ve done more testing on these heads than anyone I know of, and have taken well over 50 animals with them. Both models are excellent. However, here are some conclusions I’ve come to:

The Swept is every bit as tough as the Full. The blades actually narrow to the same width on both models, so they are equally strong.

The Swept are slightly more forgiving at longer ranges or in a cross wind. I can notice it at 60 yards and further.

Swept are legal in CO (in response to an earlier comment).

I’ve not had any issue with noise in flight from either model.

This is a little subjective, but the Swept just look cooler I like looking at the end of my arrow and seeing something cool looking.

I haven’t really noticed a difference until beyond 70 yards. The swept are illegal in Idaho. I’d probably go with swept unless it was prohibited because I have heard (not pesonally experienced) that the full blades can flex and damage the shaft below the insert.
