EXO K3 1800 - with lid?

Anyone using an EXO K3 1800 with a lid? How’s the fit?

mim contemplating adding a lid to mine to pick up some additional storage. My concern is it may be a sloppy fit and get snagged constantly on cover.

Anyone?

I have one. I like it. Had the 4800 with a lid and ordered the 1800 and lid straps so I could run them together.

I just sold my 1800, but put the lid on during the time I had it. No slop at all for me using EXO's lid straps.

I run an 1800 on my K2 frame and use my K2 lid. Works nice.

Ran a blaze lid on mine for rifle season. No slop. Fit was good and liked it for quick access to some items

I run the lid with my 1800. I like the lid and wouldnt use the pack without it. It stays securely without flopping around. I always put the center pack compression straps across the lid straps which help hold it secure. And now that someone mentioned it I think I had to buy extra straps to work with the 1800.

I just ordered an 1800 with a lid. Should be here this weekend. Being in New York. I don't need a large pack. 99% is the day hunting. I want to be able to use it for hiking with the family as well. Hopefully next year I can get away for a long weekend or more. In that case I would order the 4800 to go with this
